Yea, that would be me.

I am so looking forward to sacking on the couch tonight and doing nothing but watch TV with the woodstove fired up. (I plan to hit the grocery on the way home to grab a bottle of wine for the occasion)

I think the kids will be reasonably entertained by tonights festivities. (hopefully there won’t be any begging to watch Pokemon or some equally mind numbing dribble)

But just incase they aren’t, I found some fun little activities they could work on to keep them interested in the festivities.

Who am I?

I am a working mom, trying to juggle the demands of the 9 to 5 culture while trying to continue a frugal journey that began about 8 years ago with the birth of my son. I am the same as most working parents. I crave quiet time. I crave simplicity. I crave non-fast-food meals. I crave the joys a maid service brings when I come home to a house that I didn't have to spend five hours cleaning. I hope to find a good balance of simplicity (home cooked meals) and sanity savers (maid service). Please join me on this journey and hopefully we can learn from one another and make all of our lives simpler.
